Stars: 5
Author: Roald Dahl Ages: 8-12 When you live in a very small, old, wooden house, chances are low that you will win one of five golden tickets to an extraordinary candy factory. When Charlie Bucket wins a golden ticket, he is more surprised than anyone! Charlie, a poor child eating cabbage soup for every meal, never even dared dream about winning one of the five golden tickets to Willy Wonka's factory. Just as it says on the ticket, tremendous things are in store for Charlie. Discovering secrets along the way, this story has as many surprises as the chocolate factory itself. The surprise ending is going to have you on the edge of your seat when Mr. Willy Wonka tells Charlie the best surprise anyone can get. Your mouth will be watering as this scrum-diddly-umptious story continues. This book is one of my all time favorites. Full of surprises, Roald Dahl's most famous book tells the tale of am amazing boy. Roald Dahl is probably my favorite author. I hope you cherish this book as much as I do. Happy Reading!
